Probably because it is connected to your stereo via HFP, so it is coming across as a phone call?

I use mine connected using A2DP and there are no issues with the CA voices, they sound very similar ...

my mate even got loquendo working on his one xl and it is only 32mb...cheers for info

If you delete the ephemeris folder does it get recreated?

If not, it can't update QuickGPSFix.

I can't remember if LIVE devices recreate it if it isn't present or not.
