Its ok folks - cracked it!

I converted the wrong type of file to the ov2 - therefore it didn't bring up the names.

I went back and used the original .axe file and converted that and now its work ...

I've been able to download a new POI category to my TTG and everything is working well. The POI has its own logo, and the POIs themselves are roughly in the right places etc etc.

I don't know whats going on!

I've checked the POI Management features in 'Maintain' and its not even listed! I've checked EVERY conceivable place on the unit but its just not there! But ...

The USB cable. The unit shows the transfer (the flashing card thing) and it shows it present on the PC too. But when I remove the cable and reset the unit - nothing there!

Guys, I've been trying to put some POI databases on to my TTGo but having very little luck.

I was able to download the postocde, speed camera files as well as others without any problems whatsoever ...

Hold on, are we saying then that the new Tom Tom Mobile package IS working with the C500?

Or do you HAVE to subscribe to this traffic service to make it work? Surely that wasn't the BT stack connec ...

I think I'll take that advice then and start in my own local area and use all the addresses I have to get lat/long co-ordinates for each one and then put them together. Hopefully other ...
