Has anyone tried installing v7 Navcore on to the One v4? Will it work and could you then get back these lost features thru a custom menu?

Melonjuggler, when you save the textfile (using Notepad) to the SdkRegistry folder, make sure that Notepad didn't add a '.txt' extension to the file name. It should read 'TomTom.mnu', NOT 'TomTom.mnu ...

You will also have to update your operating software via the Home program in order to use the new maps. At least THIS is free!

Just a thought: Won't he have to set up new account within Home for the 710 (ie. with a new email address). 'Home' thinks that his unit is still a Classic.
