Garmin has updated their IOS Smart Link app to version 2.1.3 (1312) few days ago. As per release notes, the new update fixed some bugs. There is no major or minor change.
Apparently from reports I've seen it improves traffic and Bluetooth. _________________ Where there's a will ... there's a way. |

I had an Android Smartlink update a few weeks ago. Because I don't use it on the road I don't know what improvements it made.
For me it wasn't Smartlink that was the issue but the data provider who I'm sure was viaMichelin, who hung onto long cleared roadworks that I reckon filled the buffer and stopped more recent live traffic events getting through.
Probably not an issue in most areas but in London 200+ local roadworks events was filling it up.
A 3 day M4 outside lane closure for barrier repairs was still being reported 9 months later. _________________ Satnav:

Agreed. Thankfully if you don't use smartlink but just the normal digital traffic it works fine _________________ Where there's a will ... there's a way. |
