Idiot's Guide to Installation?

I've searched the forums and can't seem to find a definitive guide.

I am getting my Ipaq 1945 next week and have got the TT3 Bluetooth kit. It seems sensible to have the latest GPS and TT3 updates installed from the TT website and I also want to have CheckPoint, Speed Camera Database and UK Post Code program all installed.

I won't have a cradle, just a USB sync cable.

What order should stuff be installed and should everthing except TT3 program file and GPS file be installed onto the SD card?

Don't know how I missed that post. Seems to give a good idea of what to install and what order.
