GO820 with Lifetime UK maps

I bought the above recently and I am now considering adding the Western European maps - what would happen to my Lifetime UK maps subscription?

The subscription itself - i.e. the right to receive future updates - will be unaffected but the UK map itself may need to be offloaded to your PC unless you first add an SDHC card to simultaneously accommodate the newer purchase.

If it needs clarifying, so long as you have space for both maps, then they will exist happily side by side on the unit, but will NOT be used simultaneously - you need to switch between them.

In other words, if you buy a Europe map now, it will come with the UK included, but that data will steadily get older and older.
So you will want to normally use the up-to-date UK map from your subscription, but when you go abroad and switch over to the Europe map, you will get the somewhat older version of the UK, and you'll have to remember to switch back to the newer UK map on your return.
