Map Update

Garmin have just released a map update (2013.40) and yet again have a new download method.

Garmin Map Updater seems to have disappeared to be replaced by Garmin Express.

My first attempt at downloading stopped (running in background, so not sure what happened) but GE informed me that my maps were up to date even though device was showing that previous version.

However, after a computer reboot, download is running again, hopefully to completion this time.

Hopefully your download went OK but there have been numerous reports of problems with Express. MapUpdater is still available here should you or anyone else need it:

Thanks for the information on the update Michael - downloaded successfully using Mapupdater (thanks Sussamb for the heads-up on reported problems with Express).

I also was able to update the Safety Cameras - France set-up as well.
