Afternoon
Pretty sure this is a 1005 issue rather than a PGPSW one but am not an expert...
I 'think' I'm correct in guessing that the PGPSW camera alerts appear in the top left hand corner of the unit and the TomTom alerts appear in the bottom left hand corner?
I have the PGPSW camera database installed, and the TomTom cameras disabled, but I keep getting 3 tones, a box counting down to whatever it is in the bottom left hand corner and an exclamation mark within a circle showing on the road? I've checked on the 2D view and they don't appear but if I'm out driving or if I run a demo route, there they are, mostly on motorways?
Any idea what they are and how to stop them please?
Thanks. _________________ TomTom Go 1005 Live |

I have started getting these too, there are two going over the Tyne bridge. I selected them as an option and got a screen to 'confirm a speed camera removal?' prompt. I removed them, but I am not sure why they have started appearing :/

Yep Steven, same here.
I noticed one coming off the A1 northbound onto the A168 yesterday, I pressed it and got the same question to either confirm the camera was still there, or not.
I'm don't understand why they are appearing when I have the TomTom cameras disabled?
Thanks Nibor, I've tried enable then disable but no luck. _________________ TomTom Go 1005 Live |

They are "safety alerts" or accident blackspots of some kind.
I don't think they were actually meant to be cameras, but I agree that when you tap to delete one it says "Do you want to delete this camera". _________________ "Settling in nicely" ;-) |

I had one on a sharp bend near Harrogate the other month. I taped the ! and it asked if there was a camera here - so I said 'no' as it was the best answer. The choice was 'Yes' or 'No' - there was no 'cancel'! It was true, there was no camera... :/

I've posted on the TomTom board and will update here if I get a solution.
