No GPS Signal on TT3

Running TT2 on a Toshiba e740 fine. Put the upgrade straight onto a Toshiba e800 and got it authenticated. OK so far. I can open TT3 and scan around the maps, POI's etc.....

Now, when I plug the GPS reciever into it I get no GPS signal - the s/w is not even trying to decode (those nice dots moving in a line). Plug the antenna back into my e740 (TT2), and lock in seconds. The correct antenna and com part are selected - only thing different is TT3 on an e800

I have also read with interest some of the screen lockup problems - and I seem to get them too.

Any advice

So far, not impressed by TT3

Are you using the same connecting lead to join the GPS unit to the e800? The e740 and e800 have different cable requirements as far as I'm aware.

Looking at the car kits on Global Postioning System site it shows two different kits for these models.

Yes they are different ... same GPS antenna though
