The TomTom Webinar on HD Traffic, which will be posted for replay on the automotiveworld.com web site in 24 hours (apparently) gave no new insight into HD traffic range info. I asked a question about it, but the answer was the usual "it doesn't matter about a jam three hours away" so I suspect it will never be fixed, even though a UK motorway problem is hardly ever less than three hours.

But the interesting stats were on the HD traffic subscription. There is a graph which shows that every country is big on speed camera and HD traffic use, but the UK is the lowest of HD traffic subscribers (76%) which is less than use the cameras (80%). All the other five countries are at 84% HD traffic use. That perhaps reflects the UK situation well doesn't it - the system doesn't work as well for us, so we don't subscribe so much.
