Hi -

This is quite odd. I just received my bundle of Mio 168 + TomTom Navigator 3. I have installed everything. However, my GPS receiver seems to be stuck and I cannot lift it to the recommended horizontal position.

I do not wish to exert any undue force .. as I do not want to break it. Shouldn't the receiver just lift up easily or is there a switch. I feel quite stupid asking this but any help would be appreciated.

Thanks and regards

I had the same question.
Grasp the antenna at both sides and pull hard. It will flip up. There is no catch or lock on the antenna, it just fits tight. You can see the hinge on top, pull up opposit the hinge.

It does have a catch which keeps it folded and requires some force to unlock. It's made of sturdy stuff so don't be shy of exerting some force.
