TomTom *.cfg files

TT Support? suggested I delete the country configaration file to solve a problem I keep having with the TT3 Upgrade.

(The SECOND time I use TT3 I get a Fatal Application Error message saying TTN has performed an illegal operation. Exception:0xc0000005 Address: 00000000. The first time it is used after TT3 is installed it is fine.)

Could somebody please explain to me how I rebuid the CFG files after deleting it/them

The cfg files store your preferences and favourites. If they are missing TomTom will automatically create them again with all the default settings and no favourites. You then need to change your settings to what you require and add in your favourite places.

A good tip is when you have several favourites is to also save them as a POI so you can later re-save these POI (saved in seperate files) as favourites if you lose your settings.
