Gatso Camera Warning

Hi,

I wonder if someone can offer me some advice re the speed camera announcement warnings that have changed on my 720.

For about a month now the warning comes up with something like "Pocket GPS Gatso .2 mile. Next opportunity 3.4 miles"

It used to just advise me that I was approaching a camera and its particular speed and that was it. But now there is this irritating announcement that isnt very clear and the 'next opportunity' rubbish is sending me bananas.

Is it something I have altered in the settings and could someone advise me how to correct it please.

When updating I delete all data in the new download except the OV2 files, but I have been using this method for a year or two and havent experienced the problem before.[/b]

When you put the warnings in you opted for a full warning, redo them and select the shortened version or alternatively download some already made up from this site.

I have checked and you are correct, the full warning has been selected. How that has ocurred is a mystery to me as it would take some time to change all these from what was the short warning to the full warning and I would recall doing that if I had changed them.
