I'm trying to export POI's from Google Maps to the Nuvi, the process appears to work, no error messages and finally confirmation that the data has been transferred. But where do they go to in the Nuvi? For the life of me I can't find them anywhere. Have successfully transferred photos from Garmin Connect to the 1300 which would indicate that the comm's are working. Any ideas please? |

Don't think Google maps exports the file in the format that the nuvi can read, so although it might send it OK you'll never be able to read it |

Well, I searched and searched then searched again ... and I have finally found what I was looking for.
Following 'favourites' I had not realised that the first level of 'all favourites' holds data that isn't always held in a sub folder. By searching 'all favourites' I have found where the Google POI's are exported so this is a very useful feature, now I know how it works. |

So it does work then, thanks for the update. In the past there were all sorts of problems with file formats so never used Google maps to do it.
Incidentally if you select All Favourites then spell you can find any favourite without having to scroll through the whole list, you don't even have to put in the full spellling, just a few letters and tap done and the nuvi will give you all favourites that match up. |
