Is it just me or does the route planner not work with Firefox 4. Since installing (and the removing it) on zooming in to the map it does not switch to the OS map??

So in my order of browser preference it does not work with Chrome (offset waypoints) or Firefox 4 (no OS maps). At this rate I will be reduced to using IE - heaven forfend.

Well Firefox 4 is still a beta ( or has it reached RC staus now ) so I suppose it is difficult to judge till the official version emerges.

I tried to run it ( Firefox 4 ) but it wouldn't install.

Perhaps an e-mail to Satmap might clear it up.

Yep, as far as I know FF4 is still Beta.

So there are likely to be some shortcomings.
Maybe report your problems to FF, it will help them out.

Cheers, Bob

Same here with FF4 regarding OS maps, can't edit waypoints in FF but all is working as it should in Internet Explorer 9.

There was no indication that Firefox 4 was a beta when I downloaded it. I too discovered that the Route Planner would not change scale to 1:50k or 1:25k.
Satmap told me to use IE8 which seems to be OK but is real pain. I also can't access emails from my work on FF4. I hope something changes soon.

It isn't a beta now,it's the real thing.

I have problems viewing .pdf files,I hope that is sorted out.

Well Firefox 4 is full release as i'm about to point out to them and as for IE9, sorry but it dosent work for me and i've tried two different computers. The popup window with waypoint editing options doesnt dissapear. In fact its a nightmare, so thats FF4 and IE9 out.

So as far as i'm concerned the routeplanner is unusable as i'm not installing a third browser just for that, its bad enough having to use IE.

Actually the problem i've noticed on IE9 is if you call up the waypoint editing menu and go to delete a waypoint then sometimes the "do you really want to delete, yes or no" window appears directly underneath the first one, so its impossible to click any button !

Not exactly good programming practice Very Happy
