TT3-losing maps when turned off

I've upgraded to TT3, since doing so when ever I turn on my Ipaq 3870 i have to exit tomtom then open ait gain to regain the map data. I've reinstalled everything and brought a new sd card. Anyone else having this problem, any idea as to how correct it.

TomTom Navigator has never coped that well with the Pocket PC being switched off when it's running - the best thing is to exit Navigator before you switch off.

If you find in map mode the screen won't repaint, I've seen that happen in Navigator 3 - try moving the zoom slider up and down to see if that will provoke a repaint.
