Re-loading software to XL2

excused boys, are in possession of a tomtom xl2, like I must load the pdi over, like unblocks the complete menu? you can give some to me link where I can unload some patch for the navcore?

I've split this out from the other topic you originally posted it in as it's a different problem.

I'm not entirely sure what you're asking, but I think you want to change the software on an XL2 to give you the full menu that you get on older models?

If so, first make a FULL backup of the system using Windows Explorer to copy and paste the entire TomTom contents to somewhere safe on your PC.

Then you need to install and run TomTom 'Home' and use it to ensure the software has been fully updated, as that restores some missing functions.

If that doesn't give you what you want, you need to install a "custom menu". This will give you some of the missing menu sections, but you will LOSE other ones. Do a search of the forum by putting "custom menu in the search box, to find some instructions.
