TomTom Via Speed Cameras and POIs

I updated my Via 120 yesterday and was pleasantly surprised to find it now allows you to upload 3rd party POIs. This meant I was easily able to upload PGPSW speed camera files (.OV2) and set the warnings for them on my Via. This all takes place through 'My TomTom'. To access it you need to have the device connected to your computer and then to right click on the icon on the quick start bar. This now brings up an option for 'Add shared POI'. Clicking on this opens a new browser window:



This window allows you to upload and download (backup) your POI files.

Glad you've found it and you are now able to add the PGPSW speed cams!

But it's actually quite old news now, it was announced that they would be implementing it last year (Our topic about it was TomTom to Add 3rd Party POI Support by End of January 2011), and when it actually appeared in early feb. we announced it in User-POI update now available - 14th Feb 2011.
