I am sending my unit to satmap for repair plus I will be getting my maps consolidated onto one card. Can anyone advise me what I should do before despatch. What should I make a note of or copy from the map cards and the unit.

Also is it possible to take screen shots of my satmap settings so if they should get changed I can reset them. I thought I had read how to do this on this forum but can't find it now.

Hope you can help please.

Hi
Coincidentally, I have just packaged my Satmap and cards up to send off for service, world map, and map consolodation.
I have decided against toggeling - but am now having second thoughts......
I have copied all my map cards onto my p.c. including all routes and POI etc. I have deleted the Rotes and POI etc from the internal memory of the Satmap

What a good idea to take screenshots of your settings. It's too late for me as mine is packaged up, but here is the info from the manual-

Press and hold the Backlight Boost button for three seconds; a camera icon briefly replaces the icons next to the battery (i.e. Stop/Record icon, toggle icon). A beep sounds to indicate a successful screenshot capture, depending on your Beep Alert Count setting (section 7.15).
To access your screenshot:
• Connect your Active 10 to the computer via a USB cable.
• Open SatSYNC.
• Screenshots are found in the root folder of the Internal Storage or SD Card. (By default it is saved to the SD Card folder, if the SD card is in the unit and is not write-protected. Otherwise it is saved to the Internal Storage of your unit).
• Select the screenshot and press Export to download it to your computer.

Cheers
Roger

Thanks for the advice Roger. I have taken my screen shots and sent the unit and maps to satmap. After reading the comments on toggle or not to toggle I decided not to toggle.
