I'am not a big fan of IQ routing and with the high fuel prices causing less traffic it's now way off. Today I left Hove at 13.30 going to Letchworth normally this takes 1.50 to 2.0 hours round the worst section of the M25 and on a Friday. It planned the route at 2.14 this had 16 mins of general delay. I just breezed it at 1.55 hours no delay. Once I got passed J 19 the delay just dropped away. Maybe over time this will get adjusted but at the moment it could replan unnecessary.

And that is a weakness of IQ routing.......

Based upon historical data, the information is imbedded into the map. And if conditions change, such as you've described, well the info will be wrong until such time as revised data gets included in a subsequent map update.

V865 is due within the next few weeks so maybe IQ routing in that area will (again) be more reliable.

I would so like TT/TA to be able to respond to traffic changes that quickly, after all they should have data from HD, but I will be surprised if they do. Meanwhile some IQ information [eg town centre] will be relevant, timings based on historical SWOT will tend to be an over-estimate.
