Hey Guys
I need some advice, I'm a new iphone user with my business taking me all over the UK. Can anyone suggest a decent app that doesn't cost the earth? |

For navigation? You'd be best spending a little and getting a decent navigation app.
Consider TomTom, Navigon, Sygic and CoPilot. _________________ Darren Griffin |

I was thinking for navigation, perhaps an app that will help me identify both fixed and mobile speed cameras as well? |

We recommend the CamerAlert app from PocketGPSWorld. I tried a few and none stack up against it very well. There are many reasons why you might choose the PGPSW one over anyone else here
Have you tried any apps? |

That wouldn't be a loaded question would it? Surely you have access to an app already given your employ? _________________ Darren Griffin |

Perhaps it's not very good? It (non-PGPSW Speed Camera iPhone App) certainly wasn't when i tried it. I dont think the other 2-4 people using when i tried it liked it much either. They didn't seem to stay "online" for very long at least.... |

There aren't many apps with bundled speed camera data and of those that exist, none have data that I would consider high quality. _________________ Darren Griffin |

Cheers for the advice, what was the feedback that you got? I've tried using POI and wasn't much pleased with it. |

What is POI and what problem did you have with it? |

POI Warner I think the company's called. I found that not all mobile speed camera's were being found. Is this a common issue with these sorts of apps? |

With yours and POI Warner's yes. Not so much with our though. I presume that's what you're trying to get at?

It was more of a general who has the most accurate database? I'm just trying to gage how competitive the market is at the moment |
