Camera Alert Icons.

I know that PGPSW does larger size icons for the TomTom, but does PGPSW do them for the Garmin as they seem rather small.

I've got the cameras on my dads 3760 and he thinks they're rather small & I tend to agree.

A Garmin 3760 (37xx series) isn't listed, that's why I asked.

Even the old i3 could use the 24x24 icons. When I tried the 48x48 icons on the i3 it just used the corner of the icon so you should be safe to try. If you can you report back so we can update the list. The list only contains the models where users have reported success.

I take it I put them in with the POIs.

Is it just a case of copying them over into the POI folder on the 3760 or do I have to use the POILoader software?

Each download of the PGPSW database contains icons. All you need to do is replace those icons with the new ones and upload with POILoader.

I just thought I'd let you & everyone else know that the large 44x44 size icons do not work on a Garmin 37xx series unit.

Both the smaller 22x22 & 24x24 size icons do work on a Garmin 37xx series unit.

Read through this and its interesting but it leaves me wondering if there are any larger or alternative icons for the Nuvi 255 ?

Yes. As far as we know the 24 x 24 icons work with all the Garmin units. The 48 x 48 have never worked.

Whilst we don't have a definative list of every model no-one has come back to say the Garmin doesn't work with the 24 x 24.
