Anybody noticed CoPilot apparently using power when it's not "running" ?
I upgraded my Hero to T-Mobile's 2.1 build when it became available, and whilst wandering around the settings menus to see what had changed, I noticed the "Battery" item in "About phone" at the bottom of the settings menu. On the Battery menu is a "Battery use" item which shows "What has been using the battery". Every time I check this, even if I haven't even started it since the last time the phone was on charge, I see CoPilot listed.
If you charge the device, the figures get reset when you next unplug, and, looking at the phone now, I've been unplugged for 36 minutes, display has used 38% of the power (that has been used, not 38% of a full charge), Cell standby is 16% but even though I haven't used it,CoPilot has allegedly consumed 34% of the power that the device has used...
I've been tinkering with Tasker and some WiFi location based settings, so have been keeping an eye on this screen, and, CoPilot has consistently been up there near or at the top of the list.
I guess it could be some background process, or, some legitimate process' power use that the OS is mistakenly attributing to CP, but either way, I'm curious to know if anybody else has seen this?

Don't worry too much about the perceived battery drain from CoPilot. The battery app doesn't always clear every item when taken off charge.
I've noticed, on occasions, that my Legend (android 2.1) still shows a battery use by CoPilot even when I've just taken it off charge after showing green light (full charge).
The only way of ensuring the battery useage is correct is to do a soft reset (turn off and then on the phone), the levels will be correct then. _________________ HUAWEI P30 Pro (new edition) with Speedtrap Alert & alcatel1 for SatNav
