... having said that, there doesn't seem to be a TT Navigator 5 version - is this correct? |

Thanks - posted in that topic, but I can't get the POI's to show the camera ... er things. It has 43 POI's as standard and the camera databases aren't listed. I've copied them into the Great-Britain_map folder. |

The limit of 40 doesn't include the built-in POI's.
Which files did you actually copy to the Map Folder? _________________ Richard

Hi horrgakx,
Have you shutdown TTNav since you installed the camera database .OV2 files?
Try a soft (NOT a hard) reset of your PDA.

Hi there - yes the phone's been on & off like a bride's nightie.
The TT software itself is fantastic, I'm well impressed. Just need to get the cameras sorted.
Oh, and I've installed other voices too by the way so it does pick up some of the addons I've installed.

Hi horrgakx,
Is it TomTom Mobile on a Smart phone, or TomTom Navigator on a PDA/phone?
You say that you've switched the unit off, but do you shut down TomTom before you do so?

Hi - the software is "Navigator 5 for PDA". The software works 100% as far as navigation etc. is concerned.
I always shut down the application before switching off the device.

Hi horrgakx,
What version of TTNav are you running, is it 5.00 or 5.10?
Are you running a fully legitimate version of TomTom Navigator for PocketPC?

Thanks for the reply. It is v5.1
I bought it from PC World last week, its the pucker version that comes on an SD card.
I have installed some voices okay and it picked those up no problem. We're sure the POI files simply go in the current map directory?
