740 problems

i'm on my fourth 740 now....

i have the constant rebooting issue and map freezing (even on the replacement one from tomotm straight out of the box and not connected to the pc)

they say the issue is down to third party poi's causing the device to fail......

i only have poi's on the device that i have created myself on the 740 itself...

they don't seem to even know if the device can handle its own poi's??

has anyone else had the same issues?? as tomtom said i'm the only one who has had freezing and rebooting issues

I have no custom POIs and my 740 has been relatively trouble-free.

I had the constant reboot only once, after the last dodgy map update - many of us were affected by that, but it's been fine since.

i have tried it without the poi's on it and it still rebooted

all tomtom want to do is for me to send it back again and then they will send me a fifth unit.

wouldn't mind if it was once a week on the reboot but its about 4 times a week
