|
|
Nuvi 265WT
If I plan a route and set off I no longer see my route marked out with a magenta line on my normal map. I still get voice directions and the indicator in the top left corner with distance to next turn etc. If I switch to the traffic map I do see the route in magenta but all roads are just grey (no difference in A/B or M-Ways) so it is not as readable.
I assume I have toggled something off to stop the route showing on the normal map but am at a loss to work out what.
Any help would be appreciated

If I update the maps on my unit is that likely to fix the problem.
Come on guys..... |

Have you changed the colour settings? |

I know this may seem silly but have you gone into settings . map . map info and made sure that the latest map is the only one checked. I created this problem some years ago on a Quest and it went back to the base map for the display and it took a while to realise what I had not done after updating the maps. |

Thanks for the suggestion I will take a look. I phoned Garmin Tech Support today and they said they will swap the unit out if I send it to them which I thought was good of them considering it is over a year old. |

sorry alan_sh - I did not see your post. No I checked colours, in fact apart from camera updates and the latest firmware (that did not fix it) the unit is as it came out of the box.
Still as I said in my last post they are swapping it out for me :-) |
