Blackwall Tunnel Specs

Hey Guys,

Could someone show me on google maps where the 2nd Specs camera on the north side of the tunnel.

And are they 100% operational?

Last night at about 10pm I was heading north through the southbound tunnel, and was also trying to stick to the 20mph limit, but everyone infront of me shot off, and those behind me began to build up.

I increased my speed to 25mph and people were still going past me in the 2nd lane.

Those cameras must catch 100s of people every night.

If I remember rightly the second set of specs cameras are on the island where you turn of to go East along the A13, after you drive under the A13, and the last time I went that way(about a month ago) they were still under test.

Have a read of my reply in this thread, I think that should explain what's going on.

If both tunnels are open then the 30 MPH limit applies. If one tunnel is closed and the contraflow operates then the 20 MPH limit applies.
