Can anyone put me out of my misery please? I’m sure I did it before but I can’t find the way how I did it. I got the offer to delete all but it’s not what I want.

I take it you mean Delete Recent Destinations, in which case the answer is no.
It might have been in the very early versions that individual deletions could be done. _________________ Richard

Thanks Oldboy,
Don't suppose the Mapsconfig file can be edited? _________________ Tibor

Have you been a naughty boy then?
Does it really matter if you lose the other recent destinations too?
If you're really desperate to keep them, you could just "Find" each one on the Browse map page, and temporarily re-save them all as Favourites or in a POI category.
Then just do a quick "Navigate to.." each of them, to put them back into the Recent Destinations list. |

I’m much too old to be a naughty boy.
Just thought I’d clean out the unwanted routes and I didn’t want to lose my home address, as I had to put it in via latitude & longitude. After 17 years of the houses been built, there are no house numbers on the map. Looking at the size of the Mapsconfig file, (10Kb) it’s hardly worth it, but I have saved your instructions for future use.

g0tch, I would follow Andy's instructions now and save any places on the list that you want to keep in a separate POI category. You won't accidently loose them then. Also, did you know that you can save the 'home location' separately so it's easier to get to in the "navigate to..." menu?
'Recent destinations' is really just a short-term shortcut - it's not designed for long-term use.
I find it easier to use the 'browse map' part to set up locations - especially when I know them for real. You have the advantage that you can choose which side of the road and how far between junctions somewhere is etc. _________________ Gerry

Thanks Gerry,
I will have a go and I've also archived your post too for future reference.
