Tomtom freezes after it has updated

I have a Tomtom 730 that keeps freezing since it has been updated. Can you help me. Thanks.

Connect it to your PC and use Windows Explorer to view the drive letter associated with the device, open the Western_Europe map folder and locate the "MapSettings.cfg" file delete this then let the device reboot and it should be fine.

The device will create a new file of the same name but you will have to re-enter you Home location and any POI settings - Mike
