TomTom Go 550 Bluetooth Problem

Hi, I recently purchased the Go 550, and I have problems pairing it with my phone (I have a Samsung Tocco on Orange contract).

When I connect to the phone and it goes through the process of retreiving data etc it mostly fails, and on the odd occasion that it does succeed, as soon as I go to make a call or anything via my TomTom, it says Phone Disconnected.

I've tried absolutely everything to no avail, anyone able to help me out with this as the bluetooth connectivity was a large part of the reason to buy this model.
