|
|
Can you please advise me sort of system it uses - mine is due to arrive next week (new car) but they are useless at answering my questions. Is it Garmin or Tomtom based? - or something else completely?
I can't even contact Nissan UK as I do not know my cars plate or VIN.
So frustrating trying to plan and upgrade something that the sales people know nothing about :-( |

You could try asking "tonyontour" or "Brianpowell123" either by PM or in their Nissan Connect topics just a few below this one in the index. |

The navigation software is supplied by Zenrin. A little information about them here:

EDIT: My apologies, I just noticed you were asking about the Connect, not their standard navigation system. The Connect system is from Bosch and an excellent explanation of it's capabilities is here:

Thanks very much guys! I was beginning to think it was top secret - Nissan UK seemed to think so, or at least the Salesmen haven't been told :-) |

You can use the Garmin .csv file for the POIs and follow the guide available on this site to install.
However, I and others have not been able to get the images to display on the map, has anyone been able to do this - if so please can you advise how.
Thanks |
