Sorry if this is covered elsewhere but I can't find the answer. I have just bought a GO740 Live and was offered the new map 835.2419 which I downloaded and installed. Now that I have started using the 740 I notice it does not show the street name of the following turn. My old 720 did and I always found it useful to know in advance the name of the next street I should be turning onto. Is this an omission from the new map or a shortcoming of the 740? |

Hi, I think you can add this here. Tap the main screen,
Change preferences,
tap through to page 5,
Street name preferences
Then tick as required.
I think you have to have the extended menu shown as well. _________________ Keith

Goto Change Preferences, Street Name Preferences, and ensure check mark is against show next street name. _________________ Malcolm

Thanks guys, how stupid am I? I should have spotted that myself. Anyway, as always this Forum has given me the answer and I have now added it to my list of favourites, and programmed a button on my keyboard to open it automatically. PocketGPS Rules! |
