Why i try and update my map correction as i am trying to delete a roundabout as there is traffic lights here now and this has been like this for a few years now it says on my TT go 920
This error will be reported to TT but this roundabout cannot be corrected for for your map version.
it says version 8.351
Map of uk and republic of ireland v830.2305
Thanks for any info

I'm afraid that's the way it is....

MapShare was hyped to be much more flexible than it actually is, there's nothing you can do to change the actual layout of the roads, roundabouts etc. as drawn on the map. All you can do is change the *attributes* of the existing drawn features.

In effect, this means that when you do a correction on your TomTom, only the things on the first screen of corrections will actually affect your current map.
So you can:- block in one or other direction/change one-way direction (which is actually the same thing!)/change a road's name/ change the speed of a road.

Everything else - new road/new roundabout/delete road etc. is just making a report which gets sent to TomTom and you have to *hope* they use your correction in the next map release which they will be pleased to let you *buy*!

Most people find their corrections are NOT included in the next map, so they have to report them again and again, until they give up.

The Forth Road bridge is another example of where Map Share has been used to inform TomTom its no longer a Toll road but the very latest map is still wrong, being in Scotland you might notice this on your next trip through that section of road. TBH I have answered you post on another board earlier this morning hence the info about the bridge Wink - Mike

Not quite right - new roundabouts are now added to your map immediately. They may not appear visually on the map itself, but any instructions given will refer to it as a roundabout.

I was wondering if I should mention that while I was typing the above, but decided it was easier to keep it simple, as the OP was asking about changes to the map (which I take to mean what you see in the main display).

ALG and RV seem to be such a complete mess at the moment, I'm tending to ignore them.
