Any help please, Nuvi was working fine, showing speed cams correctly, but it has suddenly stopped, though red light cams still come up. I have tried reloading the pois. Also it has started showing petrol stations and pieces of pizza on the map as I go along. Sounds like some corruption?. I have tried a reset from the button, and a restore from the menu, but not the system wipeout (I think you press the top right of the screen while turning it on). Any ideas?

1) Plug the unit into your PC
2) Use Windows Explorer to goto the following folder

x:\garmin\poi

you should see a file called POI.GPI. Move it to your PC for safe keeping.

3) Check your POIs in your upload folder on your PC are ok and reupload with POILoader.
4) Test

Thanks, I just saw your reply having fixed the problem just now. I tried downloading the database manually instead of using ash10s manager, I realised that that was the last thing I did before it packed up. Loading it manually it worked fine. I normally do the updates from my laptop, out of interest I tried using my PC, still worked OK, so I tried using ash10, and it still works, I can only assume that somehow the ash10 s/w on the laptop is corrupt?, later on I wil try re-downloading it on the laptop and try the update again to see what happens, very odd.

Odder, just went out, first camera showed OK, but then the petrol station and pizzas came up again, in fact all the poi's are showing on the map, which they never did before. I have just done another upload but this this time manually, and ticked the box to ignore every poi except the speed cam ones, interesting, as the gpi has gone from 14mb to 4mb, (and thats with the talking alert files), I'm back out in a minute to try it out,
