As described above, my "Go 740 Live" keeps resetting itself whilst I am following a route (Not always but enough to be annoying) And if your coming up to a junction this can be very frustrating. Any ideas guys. Thanks |

Have you tried hooking it up to your computer and checking for disk errors, I had this problem once, and my laptop reported and fixed some errors and my device was fine after that. |

Thanks for your response guys. I just did a disk error check and it says it found no errors. But who knows. Will keep you posted. |

I have had the random rebooting issue also!
I did a disk check because mine kept reporting an error when I connected it up to my pc, windows (7) kept offering to check and repair it.
I got fed up of hitting no and let it run a check, it said it had repaired an error.
I was concerned it might have b**gered something up but after testing it seemed to run fine.
It periodically rebooted itself but less frequently than before.
I have since run disk defragmenter, since running that I don't remember it rebooting at all! |

My 940 has done the same 3 times in about 4 weeks, I haven't spotted a trend yet. _________________ Mike

This has happened with my 540 on numerous occasions. Each time I contacted TT, they suggested performing a factory reset. This made no difference whatsoever. In the end, I returned it to TomTom for repair. They kept it for a week then sent it back saying that there was no fault with the device. However, they said they had "reflashed" it. It still resets when I am using it and I have now got used to it. |
