Help Please

I know it's a pretty dumb question but you have to start somewhere.

I am being given a Sony Ericsson C905 as a birthday gift from my kids. Nice camera, nice screen but I know less than s*d all about the gps ... Is the software supplied any good or should I look at replacing it and if so any suggestions ??

Which software does the C905 come with?
You can download google maps for basic navigation , but this also uses the GPRS, so will cost a lot on data transfer.
