Altough I ordered my TomTom2 April 3rd, I'm still waiting for the delivery. So I can't tell if this function is in there yet

Since I plan to use the setup when on holiday on my MC, and them I want to avoid motorways or other busy roads

I would prefer winding, scenery roads

So when going from A to B, TomTom2 would route me through these winding, scenery roads

Maybe this could be done using POI, but a road has a starting point and an ending point and I guess that is not the intention with POI's

And of cause, as a user I would like the option to classify a road as Scenic

Any ideas?

You can't designate a route as scenic, but you can keep asking for alternative routes (in map view) until you get one that looks suitably scenic.

Then switch to navigator view and off you go

You could try the "Shortest route" option when planning a route, but of course there is no guarantee the shortest route is scenic.

Of course, it depends what you mean by scenic, an industrial historian might prefer a different route than a mountaineer.

How about temporarily setting the average speeds for motorways and major roads very low, and/or setting preferred roads high.

This would force TT to chose the 'scenic' roads as being the 'quickest route.

I have tried to set Major roads to be of higher speeds than motorways (to bypass all motorways if possible), however, TT does not let you do this, it resets motorways and major roads to the same speed. Anybody else seen this?
