Best file location for POI d_loads

When you d/load a list of POI's, say Argos stores, which is best file to plonk in, and not get over written when new TT Op System arrives:-

Western Europe
or POI??

Custom dl of .ov2 files do NOT get overwritten when you install a new application version. When you dl and install a new map version, your custom dl's may have to be recopied from your backed up old map folder to the new specific map folder.

When you dl custom ov2 files using TomTom, sometimes they do indeed get put in a poi folder as a zip file. If so, just uncompress and put the individual .ov2 file (and associated .bmp file) into the map folder.

The dl file will NOT work if left as a zipped file in a poi folder.
