Battery Life?

Hi,

I think the Fortuna Clip On gives about 8 hours battery life.

I have two questions :-

1. Is the 8 hours reduced if using the XT mode?

2. If I use the unit for 1hour, then leave the unit off for 2 weeks. When I use again will I still have 7 hours use or does the battery discharge itself.

I think this type of battery can lose up to 20% of it's charge in 2 weeks. This is why rechargeable batteries are unsuitable for use in devices like clocks.
