NA Subscription series available ... finally

People connecting to Home being offered a subscription which I think is similar to the one you people were offered last October. User must buy current map (closer to new, less expensive ...) then 4 updates over the year at about $11 per map.

But, something we can't remember .....

The 825 map was released just recently and many paid around $100 US for it.

Last October, was the situation similar with you in Britain? Did many buy the 810 (I guess) at full price just to see a subscription offered shortly thereafter?

How did it work back then? Thanks in advance.
