Does anyone know if there will be a new firmware update for the Nuvi 760 anytime soon. Not that I need one I was just wondering if anyone is in the know. _________________ Garmin Nuvi 3790T Firmware 4.30

I'm monitoring the situation daily as there are a few unresolved problems. Not big problems but problems all the same - if they are going to offer a function you want it to work....
However it appears the 760 is listed as Discontinued here which appears to be the US page but not discontinued here which looks like the UK model.
It's not looking good for the 760 at the minute. Personally i'm not expecting anything from Garmin any more. |

Garmin continues to release application updates long after "offficially" discontinuing a model. Discontinued does not equate to unsupported. Gamin has never been on any announced or consistent schedule for app updates, but expecting you might see another update by the middle of April, would not be an unreasonable assumption. _________________ Garmin 1695 / 255 / 760 w/MSN - Droid w/Google nav + Navigon - Navigon 8100T - Dakota10 - GPSMap76C - GeoMate Jr. |
