When using Home i select memory card which contains Western Europe to update and it will only find Map Share for UK & ROI which is on the device!!!

I have never been able to d/l map share for the Western Europe!

Surely if i'm selecting the memory card it shouldnt even be able to see the UK & ROI installed on device?
It wont d/l GPS Fix when SD card is selected as i have to change device and then it will d/l that to device.So why is it d/l Map Share for a Map that is on a different device then selected?

The simplest way is to copy your system files to your external card also, that way your TT will boot from the card and not from the unit.

Easier than that....
MapShare corrections should be downloaded for a certain map if you do TWO things.
1. You have to select the correct memory location (internal or SD card) where that map is stored, and
2. You have to actually switch to be using that map - Change Preferences/Manage Maps/Switch Map.
If the Home on-screen emulator is working for you, you can do the switch between maps in that, to avoid having to disconnect and re-connect.

I used to do this a lot, when I was running two different W+CE map versions at once to compare them.

I would say copying your system files to the card and having it in two places (while perfectly possible) is a recipe for confusion later on, when you come to update the software.
