7" TOuch Screen with Route 66 Convert to TOMTOM?

I purchased a 7" Touchscreen DVD/GPS it currently has a 4 GIG SD Card with Route 66 Navigate 7 and Im not happy with it, is it possible to convert it to TOM TOM or even GArmin? I do not like th eway when you search for a location it lists like ever location with that adress in the US. It dont give you the option of putting a specific city or state in it just lists them all. ANy and all assistance is appreciated.
