I Had a Mio PDA with buit in GPS receiver running TomTom6 unfortunatly it suffered the fate of many of these PDAs, the connector at the bottom broke, the cost of repair was too high so I bought a second hand Dell Axium X30 Bluetooth complete with TomTom Bluetooth GPS receiver and loaded with TomTom 5 and a complete set of Map CDs
everything works fine BUT the TomTom 6 was better. the maps I have with V6 is more up to date and it has full postcode search
Does anyone know if V6 can be installed on the Dell Axim X30 (64M Ram) and work with the bluetooth receiver

Can anyone advise me

I am reluctant to mess up the existing V5 unless the V6 will work although I have the card with the code so I could reinstall if all went wrong

As long as you haven't activated your TTN6 application in the last six months then go ahead and install it to the Dell, it will work on that device - Mike

Thanks for the advice ,TT6 has been on my old Mio for over a year so activation shouldnt be a problem, I wasnt sure if it would work with a blue tooth receiver
