Compass settings

My old tomtom one V2 (the thin one) had the compass set to point towards the destination, my new 520 seems to point north.

Can this be changed? i can not see any option for this.

I liked the compass pointing towards destination, when there were road works or such i could take different roads by following the compass.

A compass should point North, the recent software upgrades have removed the options for the "compass" that you are used to and about the only thing I could suggest is to give TT CS a ring on 0845 161 0009 to add you voice to the list that you want the old style compass back on the device - Mike
