POI near you/in city function

I upgraded from a GO300 to a 720 some time ago, one of the features of the 720 that I really detest is the POI search which brings up the options 'near you' or 'in city'. I have made my own POI folders with various headings (all work related - but up and down the UK) when I choose to search a POI group I just want to see all the locations in that group, I don't want to start playing games guessing which is the closest city, where TT often disagrees with me! Does anyone know of a way to get around this location option before choosing a POI category, its driving me nuts !!

It can be annoying, cant it!

There is no way to get the entire list, only the closest 48 locations are now shown. (By the way even a Go300 works the same, on recent software).

But it isn't quite as bad as you think, if you use the "Find" button, it searches the entire list, so if you know part of the name you want, just choose ANY of the "near home" "near city" etc. options and then tap the first few letters of the name you want.

Alternatively, I sometimes use the Browse map/Blue cursor button/Find POI nearby/Navigate there..... method.
