Hello all
I have searched this forum and the wider web, but not found anything relating to my query.
I have recently upgraded to a Navman F20 from a Garmin i3. I'm very pleased with the F20 so far. The touch screen and bigger screen size are a real improvement. I've read and re-read the Navman user manual, but cannot see a way of selecting an individual house number when using the postcode search facility. My little i3 will do this, and you can specify a house number with the F20 if you search via an area/street.
Also, I have updated the F20 with the SP2, but found no tangible difference. What was it supposed to fix?
Best wishes
Leigh

P.S. thanks for this great site!

Welcome to the forum and sorry for the delay in answering the query.

When you tap New Address/ Post Code the device will show a screen asking "You are going to" a white/ blue cursor is positioned at the center of the postcode, you can move this around by dragging it with your finger and the actual house number will change as you do it - not ideal, as a direct numeric entry would be better - Mike

Many thanks for the reply.
I've tried that now, and you are right, it isn't that intuative. A direct house number input would be a lot easier!
Still a nice little system though.
How does the F20 compare with something a bit more modern like a Garmin Nuvi 200, or Navman's own S30?
The only thing letting the F20 down is the oldish map and the limited POIs.
Best wishes
Leigh

I tend to use TomTom only in the car unless I have the PDA in use so I certainly couldn't compare the modern Garmin or Navman devices with the F20.

The best thing to do if you are considering changing the device is take a trip to your local Halfords (or similar) and try a few of the demo units out to see which ones you actually like, then when you have a better idea of whats available post back on the forum for information about specific models - Mike
