Is it safe to put my TT account into my 540 yet????

Hey guys,

I have a 540, I got caught in the early server issues where once I put my account log in details into the TT, it didnt recognise I had subscribed to TT Live and the only way I could get my traffic was to hard reset it and use the anomonus setting.

I don't want to risk it if its still not working as I dont want to lose all my favourites again.

As far as I'm concerned it's working, but even if it isn't for you, you can just replace the MapSettings.cfg file from one of your backups after doing the hard reset to get all your favourites back.

Having said that, it would be a good idea to move over to saving your favourites in a POI file too. then you'll never lose them even if a new software version is unable to use the old MApSettings file (as happened with v8.300)

I too was caught in the early problems. It took a week of hassling first line support to escalate it, but someone did something with my server account and it is all working now.
