RoadTRip/Mapsource - How to finish a route?

Hi. I've been trying to develop a route using the Mac version RoadTrip. When I use the route tool and set the various points between start and finish I can't see any way of completing the route and saying effectively "OK that's me fished with that and I'd like to start another!" Say I now want to start at the end point of the first route and plan a second route that will bring me back to the original start point but by a different route how do I get RoadTrip to cotton on to the fact this is a new route and NOT an extension to the first route?

Also when you have created more than one route are all the routes visibly marked on the map simultaneously or only when selected in the side menu (my folder)?
