garmin nuvi 265w

Hi there ive just bought a brand new garmin nuvi 265w,it didnt come with any POI on it so ive downloaded them to the unit.Only problem is that they wont show when your driving,either in route mode or free roam,but if you move the map with your finger then they appear any ideas? they are in GPX format any help i would be very grateful.

On some models the POIs will show up if you zoom in far enough when driving.

ok but you cant stay in zoom mode as it reverts back to original format after a few seconds,must admit not very impressed with it at all

I've found if you keep zooming in it learns to stay that way. Well on the 760T anyway.

they still wont show even if u zoom

yes they show up on custom pois,but you cant see them on the map unless you drag map with ur finger or do overhead view,both of which you cant stay in before it reverts to normal 3d view

Perhaps another 265T owner can confirm this is a "feature" of the 265T.

Or is it a "feature" of the 2xx series?
